POSITION SUMMARY
Do you have a passion for media, digital marketing and video production? Do you understand how to capture moments and tell compelling stories that engage a digital audience? You will have a chance to practice multimedia skills as well as learning how to apply them practically in a business setting. As a marketing intern, you will assist the marketing and communications team in various functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
- Capture studio-quality video both on location and in the office as projects dictate.
- Shoot and edit content to build a library of product videos, and/or case study videos.
- Assist with all technical setup for shoots, including lighting, angle, placement and type of microphone, and positioning of individuals on camera (if appropriate).
- Collaborate regularly with creative teammates, marketing teammates, and senior management.
- Develop an intimate understanding of our brand message and tone to accurately capture in video and photo form.
- Edit, catalog, and organize past photos
- Assist in creating digital content for Facebook, Instagram feed and Insta-stories.
- Additional duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- Be currently attending or enrolled in an approved college or university.
- Agree with CFC’s Statement of Faith.
- Adhere to agency work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional behavior
- Adhere to state rules and policies governing the observation of confidentiality
- Assume personal and professional responsibilities for all activities and actions
- Utilize a courteous, enthusiastic, open-minded, and critical approach to policies and procedures within the agency
- Relate and apply knowledge acquired in the academic setting to your assignment or project
- Be consistent and punctual in the submission of all project assignments
- If applicable, provide your faculty advisor with periodic progress reports
- Pass a background check with AZ Department of Child Safety
- Valid Level 1 AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Negative TB test
- Great creative eye for visualizing and shooting concepts effectively.
- Proficient in Final Cut Pro X, Premiere Pro.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft 365
- Detail-oriented work ethic and excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- You are currently enrolled in a four-year academic institution, preferably as a junior or senior. We also consider graduate students.
